Gemperle Farms is proud to announce the first recipients of our new Gemperle Family Farms Scholarship. The scholarships are awarded through the Stanislaus Community Foundation in a competitive application process. Three high achieving students received the funds first $1000 scholarships to be used in the 2016-17 academic year.

Deysi Ramirez – $1,000 Scholarship
Currently attending California State University Stanislaus, Deysi has received the Multilingual Seal and volunteered throughout the community at events such as Osborn Elementary Carnivals and much more. Deysi Plans to graduate CSU Stanislaus with a BA in Child Development

Daisy Santana – $1,000 Scholarship
Currently attending Delhi High, Daisy’s community and civic involvement include volunteering for Grace Nursing Home, Love Delhi and being a member of the California Scholarship Federation.

Juan Santana – $1,000 Scholarship
Currently attending California State University Stanislaus, Juan’s community and civic development range from being Treasurer/Community Service Chair for Kappa Sigma Fraternity to volunteering at Breast Cancer Awareness Walks. Juan plans to graduate CSU Stanislaus with a BA in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Operations Management.

The Gemperle Family wishes these students success in their education and career choices.

About the Gemperle Farms Scholarship Fund
The Gemperle Family Farms Scholarship Fund is available to the children and grandchildren of current employees who have been employed for a minimum of three continuous years. The applicant must attend an accredited two or four-year college or university, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and maintain a continuous, full-time enrollment of at least 12 units per semester. Finalists were selected based on financial need, academic merit and personal statement. The scholarship can be used towards education expenses such as tuition, institutional fees, books and school supplies. The six week application process open mid January through the end of February each year.
