Gemperle Farms “Pumped Up Pumpkin Pie” — The Perfect Kids Thanksgiving Recipe

Kid's Pumpkin Pie type dessert

Gemperle Family Pumped Up Pumpkin Pie

As I sat down today to finalize my Gemperle Family Thanksgiving menu. I began contemplating on how to get the kids involved — actively participating in the kitchen. I wanted to make Thanksgiving a whole Gemperle family affair, getting everyone in the kitchen contributing and being an integral part of our celebration. Why not let the kids control the desserts?  Better yet, have loads of fun and a sense of accomplishment pulling their creation out of the warm oven.

I sat and chuckled as I remembered the Egg Mama and kids “Pumped Up Pumpkin Pie” video project we produced last year. I remembered the smiles on the kid’s faces and the luscious pumpkin dessert I plopped into my mouth. So I decided to share the video and recipe once again this year and I encourage you to engage your whole family –  kids, ,teens and spouse – in this year’s Thanksgiving feast preparations. These are the memories we will always cherish for years to come.
So watch the Gemperle Farms Egg Mama and Kids video below, show your kids and get them excited about getting involved.

Below is the recipe for your convenience:
