We are proud to introduce the 2025 Gemperle Family Farms scholarship recipients. Twelve outstanding students are scheduled to receive a total of $12,000 in scholarships to be used in the 2025-26 academic year. Emanuel Montage-Ortiz, Elena Arguello, Tyson Machado, Paul Wagner, Briana Lopez and Kimberli Ibarra are our new 2025 scholarship recipients. Maria Monge-Ortiz, Itzel Salas, Janet Cisneros, Perla Chavez-Macias, Xittlaly Ramirez and MaryJane Ramirez are 2025 renewal recipients. The scholarships are awarded through the Stanislaus Community Foundation in a competitive application process. Since 2016 over $64,000 of scholarhhips have been awarded to the children and grandchildren of Gemperle Family Farms employees.

Maria Monge-Ortiz$1000 (2nd-year recipient). Maria graduated from Delhi High School and studies Business at Merced College.

Itzel Salas $1000 (2nd-year recipient). Itzel studies Art at California State University Stanislaus. Her father has worked in the Egg Division for over 10 years.

Tittlaly Ramizez – $1000 (3rd-year recipient). She will attend Modesto Jr. College and study Child/Human Development. Tittalady graduated from Turlock High School.

Perla Chavez-Macias – $1000 (3rd-year recipient). She attends Merced College and studies Business Administration. Perla graduated from Buhach Colony High School. Her father has worked in the Almond division for over 22 years.

MaryJane Ramirez – $1000 (3rd-year recipient). She will attend CSUS to study Liberal studies with an emphasis on Cross-culture biliteracy. Her father Mauricio has worked at Gemperle Family Farms for over 15 years.

Janet Cisneros – $1000 (3rd-year recipient) Janet is currently attending Modesto Junior College She plans to transfer to California State University Stanislaus to study Nursing. Her Father Juan has worked in the Gemperle Family Farms Almond division for over 21 years.

About the Gemperle Family Farms Scholarship Fund

The Gemperle Family Farms Scholarship Fund is available to the children and grandchildren of current employees who have been employed for a minimum of three continuous years. However, the applicant must attend an accredited two or four-year college or university, have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, and maintain continuous, full-time enrollment of at least 12 units per semester. Finalists are all selected by the Stanislaus Community Foundation selection committee and were selected based on financial need, academic merit, and personal statement. The scholarship can be used towards education expenses such as tuition, institutional fees, books, and school supplies. The application process typically opens in January and closes in the middle of March.

The scholarship is between $1,000-3000 per year and can be renewed for up to 4 years and the dollar amount is dependent on the number of applications received.
