Congratulations to the 2026 Gemperle Family Farms Scholarship Recipients

We are proud to introduce the 2026 Gemperle Family Farms scholarship recipients. Fourteen outstanding students are scheduled to receive a total of $14,000 in scholarships to be used in the 2026-27 academic year. Angel Chaco, Alexis Rodriguez, and Susete Zuniga are our new 2026 scholarship recipients. Our renewal candidates include: Emanuel Montage-Ortiz, Elena Arguello, Tyson Machado, Paul Wagner, Briana Lopez, Kimberli Ibarra, Maria Monge-Ortiz, Itzel Salas, Janet Cisneros, Perla Chavez-Macias, Xittlaly Ramirez and MaryJane Ramirez.
The scholarships are awarded through the Stanislaus Community Foundation in a competitive application process. Since 2016 over $67,000 of scholarhhips have been awarded to the children and grandchildren of Gemperle Family Farms employees.

Angel Chacon $1000 – Merced college or Fresno State – Sociology.
Alexis Rodriguez $1000– MJC- Accounting/Finance.
Suzete Zuniga $1000-CSU Stanislaus/CSU Bakersfield- Nursing (photo above). Her Father has worked at the farms for over 16 years

About the Gemperle Family Farms Scholarship Fund
The Gemperle Family Farms Scholarship Fund is available to the children and grandchildren of current employees who have been employed for a minimum of three continuous years. However, the applicant must attend an accredited two or four-year college or university, have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, and maintain continuous, full-time enrollment of at least 12 units per semester. Finalists are all selected by the Stanislaus Community Foundation selection committee and were selected based on financial need, academic merit, and personal statement. The scholarship can be used towards education expenses such as tuition, institutional fees, books, and school supplies. The application process typically opens in January and closes in the middle of March.
The scholarship is between $1,000-3000 per year and can be renewed for up to 4 years and the dollar amount is dependent on the number of applications received.
