Congratulations to the 2019 Gemperle Family Farms Scholarship Recipients
We are proud to introduce you to the 2019 Gemperle Family Farms scholarship recipients. The scholarships are awarded through the Stanislaus Community Foundation in a competitive application process. Six outstanding students received at total of $6000 in scholarships to be used in the 2019-20 academic year.
2019 scholarship recipient Michael Ramirez and family.
Daisy Santana $1000 (4th year recipient) Currently attends CSU Stanislaus as a Business major. Daisy is the daughter of Gemperle Family Farms employee Juan Santana.
Julia Correa – $1000. (3rd year recipient) Attends CSU Stanislaus and is majoring in Criminal Justice. Julia’s parents Humberto and Elia Correa have worked at Gemperle Family Farms for approximately 11 years.
Janelly Zarco – $1000. (3rd year recipient). Janelly attends CSU and is a Kinesiology major. She is the daughter of Heriberto L. Zarco. Heriberto has works at Gemperle Farms for 28 years.
Deysi Ramirez – $1000 (2nd year recipient). She studies Psychology at CSU Stanislaus. her father is Jorge Ramirez, a Gemperle Family Farms employee.
Patricia Perez – $1000 (1st year recipient). Patricia attends CSU Stanislaus and is a Psychology major. Her father is Jose Munoz Rodrigues, a Gemperle Family Farms employee.
Michael Ramirez – $1000 (1st year recipient). Michael will attend MJC to study Mechanical Engineering. His father Mauricia Ramirez has worked for Gemperle Family Farms for approximately 10 years.

About the Gemperle Farms Scholarship Fund
The Gemperle Family Farms Scholarship Fund is available to the children and grandchildren of current employees who have been employed for a minimum of three continuous years. The applicant must attend an accredited two or four-year college or university, have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and maintain a continuous, full-time enrollment of at least 12 units per semester. Finalists are all selected by the Stanislaus Community Foundation selection committee and were selected based on financial need, academic merit and personal statement. The scholarship can be used towards education expenses such as tuition, institutional fees, books and school supplies. In 2019, the scholarship application process opened on January 1 and closed on March 15.
