About
The Gemperle Farms College Scholarship program was first established in 2015 to continue our family’s legacy of supporting education in Stanislaus County. The program is administered through the Stanislaus Community Foundation and was established to help fund higher education specifically for the children and grandchildren of Gemperle Family Farms employees. We believe that…..

“Helping our employees send their kids to college is one of the greatest gifts of gratitude we can give to those that have helped make our company successful.”

How Much is the Gemperle Farms College Scholarship and How Can it Be Used?
The current scholarship ranges from $1,000 to $3,000 for one year. Forty three scholarships have been awarded since 2016 and have helped pay for tuition, institutional fees, books, and school supplies. The scholarship will be issued over the course of one academic year and may be renewed for up to 4 years as long as the student still meets the scholarship requirement.

Note: If you are a renewing scholarship recipient, you must fill out your renewal application through the Stanislaus Community Foundation. Required paperwork is needed to process a renewal scholarship to be sure you meet all scholarship requirements.

If you are a high school senior or current college student or plan to attend college in the 2024-25 school year, you are eligible to apply if you meet the other criteria below.

Who Chooses the Scholarship Recipients?
Gemperle Family Farms does not personally choose the scholarship recipients. The Stanislaus Community Foundation Scholarship Committee, made up of independent community members/volunteers, will review and select the final applicant from all eligible candidates. Finalists will be selected based on financial need, academic merit, and a personal statement. So please ensure that you fill out your application carefully and put your best self forward on your application.
